The Department of Biomedical Engineering and Chemical Engineering at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) invites applications for a Tenure Track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank. We are particularly interested in applicants with a research emphasis in either of the following areas: (i) experimental research on electronic materials, semi-conductors, photovoltaic technologies, organic electronics, solid-state 2D materials, and photo- and electro-catalysis; (ii) theoretical/computational research on process intensification and machine learning, optimization, and process control of plants, especially those used to process plastics and petrochemicals.
