The Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Florida seeks highly-qualified candidates who can complement our dynamic, interdisciplinary faculty. Candidates must have a doctoral degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline, as well as a distinguished academic and research record. Candidates with interest in all research areas of importance to Chemical Engineering are welcome to apply, though candidates having strong modeling, simulation, and/or data science components will receive special consideration. The successful candidate is expected to create an innovative research program that is internationally-recognized and well-funded, collaborate with interdisciplinary researchers across campus, and demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in education through teaching undergraduate and graduate courses and the supervision of undergraduate, graduate, and post-doctoral researchers.
