FACULTY POSITION – Chemical Engineering
MISSISSIPPI STATE UNIVERSITY
The Dave C. Swalm School of Chemical Engineering at Mississippi State University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level with the appointment to begin August 16, 2019. Applicants must have a B.S. and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
The successful candidate will develop an externally funded research program and demonstrate excellence in teaching. The School is especially interested in candidates with interest in the area of optoelectronics materials. Applicants with background in modeling photophysical phenomena and/or synthesis and characterization of low band gap organic materials are particularly encouraged to apply. The new faculty will directly participate in the NSF funded Center for Emergent Molecular Optoelectronics (CEMOs).
The Dave C. Swalm School of Chemical Engineering is housed in a state-of-the-art building dedicated to Chemical Engineering. The School currently enrolls over 500 undergraduate and graduate students.
