Tenure-Track Faculty Position
Assistant/Associate/Full Professor – Materials Engineering
The Otto H. York Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Technology invites applications for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor with an expected start date of Fall 2019. We are seeking highly qualified candidates with a Ph.D. degree in Materials Science and Engineering or a closely related field. The successful candidates should have a proven track record of research accomplishments and a commitment to teaching excellence. Candidates with areas of expertise that include nanomaterials, biomaterials, engineered particulates, membranes, energetic materials, materials for energy storage or generation, ceramics, or soft materials are encouraged to apply. Outstanding candidates with expertise in other areas of materials science and engineering will also be considered. Candidates focusing on experimental as well as theoretical and computational research are welcome. Candidates from under-represented groups are especially encouraged to apply.
