Mork Family Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science

We invite applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in the Mork Family Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science in the USC Viterbi School of Engineering. We seek outstanding faculty candidates in all areas of chemical engineering, with an emphasis in soft matter. The USC Viterbi School of Engineering is committed to increasing the diversity of its faculty and welcomes applications from women, underrepresented groups, veterans, and individuals with disabilities.
The position is available starting August 16, 2019. Applicants must have earned a Ph.D., or equivalent degree, by the beginning of the appointment. Applications should include: a cover letter; curriculum vitae detailing educational background, research accomplishments, and work experience; a research plan; a teaching and service plan; and names of at least three professional references. Applicants are encouraged to include a statement on fostering an environment of diversity and inclusion.
