FACULTY POSITION – Petroleum Engineering
MISSISSIPPI STATE UNIVERSITY

The Dave C. Swalm School of Chemical Engineering at Mississippi State University is seeking individuals to fill one (1) tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant/Associate/Professor of Petroleum Engineering with the appointment to begin January 1, 2019. The School is especially interested in candidates with proven expertise in Reservoir Engineering, Reservoir Simulation, and/or Production Engineering.

Applicants for the tenure-track position must have a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering and a Ph.D. degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field. The successful tenure-track candidate will develop an externally funded research program and demonstrate excellence in teaching. Specific activities include teaching, research, service, and advising students in the Petroleum Engineering program.

The Dave C. Swalm School of Chemical Engineering is housed in a state-of-the-art building dedicated to Chemical and Petroleum Engineering. The School currently enrolls over 550 undergraduate and graduate students. More information about the Dave C. Swalm School of Chemical Engineering can be found at http://www.che.msstate.edu.
