The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Northwestern University (http://www.chbe.northwestern.edu) invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position at the level of assistant, associate, or full professor. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in chemical engineering or related discipline, demonstrated excellence in research, and a strong commitment to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Outstanding candidates in all research areas will be considered. Candidates who can leverage Northwestern’s strengths in materials research and/or catalysis are particularly encouraged to apply. Applications are especially welcome from candidates emphasizing experimental research related to the broad areas of molecular, materials, and nanoscale engineering and manufacturing and/or energy and sustainability and whose research vision may integrate with existing research centers and institutes at Northwestern. Duties include teaching and research.
