Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering
The Chemical Engineering Department in the College of Engineering at the University of California, Santa Barbara is seeking applications as part of an external search for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position with a start date of July 1, 2018 or later. Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree or equivalent in chemical engineering or a related field upon the start date.
Application packages should include a completed CV, contact information for 3-5 references, and a cover letter (limited to 2 pages) containing the following four elements: (1) most significant research accomplishment as a graduate student; (2) most significant research accomplishment as a postdoc (if applicable); (3) overall goals/vision for a research program at our institution; and (4) experience and qualifications that make you particularly well-suited to achieve those goals.
