Position Description
The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Notre Dame (http://cbe.nd.edu) invites applications for several tenured/tenure-track faculty positions.
We seek applicants with knowledge in the general area of chemical engineering, with specific interests in one or more of our six focus areas: bioengineering and biomaterials; catalysis and hard materials; computation and theory; energy and sustainability; micro- and nanofluidics and diagnostics; and soft matter and nanostructures.
Qualifications
Qualifications include a Ph.D. in chemical engineering or a closely related discipline.
Successful Assistant Professor applicants will be expected to teach effectively at both the graduate and undergraduate level, to create advanced specialty courses in their field of expertise, and to develop a world-class research program.
Successful Associate Professor or Professor applicants must demonstrate distinction in published research, student mentoring, teaching, and service.
