The Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Virginia invites applicants for a tenured or tenure-track position at the rank of assistant, associate or full professor with the rank being commensurate with experience level.
Candidates will have a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a related field, a record of excellence in scientific research, and a commitment to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Research is preferred that complements current departmental activities in biotechnology & biomolecular engineering, energy & the environment, materials engineering & nanotechnology, and simulation of complex systems.
