Announces Search for Lecturer

The Department of Chemical & Biological Engineering at Iowa State University invites applications for a full-time (nine month) non-tenure eligible faculty position at the Lecturer or Senior Lecturer rank, to begin as early as January 2, 2017. The person holding this position will be expected to develop and teach undergraduate Chemical Engineering courses, including lecture and laboratory courses, and other duties as assigned. Applicants must hold a BS in chemical engineering from an accredited engineering program and at least a Masters degree in chemical engineering, or a related field. Preferred candidates will also have a Ph.D. in chemical engineering or a related field as well as industrial and/or teaching experience. All faculty members are expected to interact collegially and maintain the highest standards of integrity and ethics. The Department of Chemical & Biological Engineering at Iowa State University has a dynamic research and teaching environment with 28 faculty, 13 staff, an undergraduate enrollment of over 800, and a graduate enrollment of 75.
