The Department of Chemical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position. We seek outstanding candidates who are committed to research and teaching excellence in chemical engineering. The successful candidate will work with, advise and teach a multicultural student body. We will consider candidates in all research areas and at all ranks.

With over 100 years of history of innovation, interdisciplinarity and creativity in research and teaching, the Department is one of the premier chemical engineering departments in the country. Carnegie Mellon University is located in Pittsburgh, PA, which has been called the most livable city in the United States six times since 2000.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree or its professional equivalent in chemical engineering or a related field by the starting date of the appointment.
