Chemical Engineering (2 positions)

Bucknell University invites applications for two tenure-track professor (open rank) positions in chemical engineering to begin in August 2017. While we expect to hire at the assistant level, we are open to outstanding candidates at all ranks. We seek candidates with a commitment to excellence in teaching and scholarship within a program that emphasizes a transformative undergraduate experience. The successful candidates will have the ability to provide excellent classroom and laboratory instruction across the core chemical engineering curriculum, the ability to advise undergraduate research projects, and the ability to offer electives in their field of specialization. Both positions are open to highly qualified applicants in any area of research. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. or ABD in chemical engineering or a closely related field by the start date. The Department of Chemical Engineering seeks student-centered faculty members with a demonstrated commitment to supporting diversity and the university's liberal arts mission.
