The Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Delaware invites applications for one tenure-track faculty position at all ranks. REQUIREMENTS: Ph.D. or equivalent in chemical engineering or a related field. Applicants for positions beyond the rank of Assistant are expected to have a commensurate record of accomplishments.
DUTIES: Lead vigorous research programs, teach and advise students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Applications in all research areas will be considered, with emphasis on candidates with expertise in energy science and engineering. Our department (http://www.che.udel.edu) is consistently ranked among the ten leading chemical engineering departments nationwide. Current energy research in the department includes novel materials for fuel cells, hydrogen generation and storage, materials and fuels from biomass, photovoltaics, and environmental catalysis. This position is part of the College of Engineering Cluster Hiring in Energy Engineering.
