The Otto H. York Department of Chemical, Biological and Pharmaceutical Engineering at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. We are seeking highly qualified candidates with a PhD degree in Chemical Engineering or allied field, a record of outstanding research ac¬complishments, and a commitment to teaching excellence. Applications are particularly encouraged in the area of Advanced Manufacturing related to Pharmaceutical and Biological Products, Processes and Materials. Candidates with specializations in multi-disciplinary experimental and computational research focusing on processing and synthesis of material including proteins, large molecules, and bio-polymers, would be considered favorably. Candidates with demonstrated interests, experience and expertise to integrate advances into or from other areas such as specialty materials, nanotechnology, drug delivery, and energy conservation and production are encouraged to apply. The candidate is expected to establish an independent research program while contributing to collaborative efforts and to teach Chemical Engineering courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level.
