Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering
Assistant professor

The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Colorado School of Mines invites applications for an anticipated Assistant Professor position, beginning fall 2014.

From its inception in 1952, the Chemical and Biological Engineering Department has focused on education and basic and applied research aimed at problems of national interest. We maintain a high- quality, well-funded research program (~$7 million in annual research awards) with strong participation from students at both the graduate and undergraduate level. Approximately 80 graduate students and postdoctoral scholars study within a broad research portfolio, including major programs in gas hydrates & energy, soft materials, biomedical research, electronic materials, simulation and modeling, and pedagogy. These research and educational activities take place in one of the most scenic locations in the United States.
