The School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) at Washington University in St. Louis invites nominations and applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Aerosol Science and Engineering at all levels (Assistant, Associate or Full Professor) in the Department of Energy, Environmental and Chemical Engineering (http://www.eece.wustl.edu). The search is open to all areas of aerosol science and technology, with preference given to individuals whose research and teaching complement energy and environmental foci at the University. Some areas of emphasis include climate change, instrumentation, nanomaterial synthesis, clean energy, ambient air quality, combustion and others. http://engineering.wustl.edu/facultyopenings.aspx
The successful candidates should have an earned Ph.D. in chemical engineering, or another related engineering or science discipline. The selected candidate will be expected to teach classes at the undergraduate and graduate level. Senior faculty will be expected to play a leadership role within the Department, and to promote interdisciplinary research within the School of Engineering and throughout the University in the field of energy and environment.
