INSTRUCTOR POSITION – Petroleum Engineering
MISSISSIPPI STATE UNIVERSITY

The Dave C. Swalm School of Chemical Engineering at Mississippi State University is seeking individuals to fill one (1) Instructor of Petroleum Engineering position with the appointment to begin January 1, 2019. The School is especially interested in candidates with proven expertise in Reservoir Engineering, Reservoir Simulation, and/or Production Engineering.

Applicants for the Instructor position must have B.S. and M.S. degrees in Petroleum Engineering or a related field or a B.S. degree in Petroleum Engineering with significant petroleum engineering industry experience commensurate with an advanced degree. For all applicants, significant petroleum industry experience is of particular importance. Specific activities include teaching, supervising and advising undergraduate students, and providing service to the Petroleum Engineering program.

The Dave C. Swalm School of Chemical Engineering is housed in a state-of-the-art building dedicated to Chemical and Petroleum Engineering. The School currently enrolls over 550 undergraduate and graduate students. More information about the Dave C. Swalm School of Chemical Engineering can be found at http://www.che.msstate.edu.
