The MIT Department of Chemical Engineering (https://cheme.mit.edu) invites candidates for faculty positions starting July 2018 or thereafter. Appointment will be at the assistant or untenured associate professor level and will be located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In special cases, a senior faculty appointment may be possible. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in chemical engineering or a related field by the start of their employment. Candidates with research and teaching interests in all areas relevant to the field of chemical engineering will be considered. The successful candidate is expected to advise students, and develop and teach chemical engineering courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as to develop a sponsored research program and be involved in service to MIT and the profession.
