The University of South Carolina invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Chemical Engineering. Preference will be given to those candidates that have a strong background in the areas of environmental studies, preferably as applied to the field of energy production from coal. Applicants should possess a PhD in chemical engineering or a related field. The successful candidate is expected to develop an internationally recognized, externally funded research program as part of the USC research thrust in Strategic Environmental Approaches to Energy Production from Coal, located in the new Horizon I research building.
