Open-rank Faculty Position
The Department of Chemical Engineering at Columbia University in New York City invites applications for tenured or tenure-track faculty positions. Appointments at the assistant professor, associate professor and full professor, will be considered. Outstanding candidates in all areas of chemical engineering will be considered, including, but not limited to, energy and the environment. Columbia Engineering has recently inaugurated the Institute for Data Sciences and Engineering, with seed funding from the City of New York – candidates in this area are especially invited to apply.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. or its professional equivalent by the starting date of the appointment. The successful candidate should contribute to the advancement of the department by developing vibrant, externally funded research program, the undergraduate and graduate educational mission of the Department and establish multidisciplinary collaborations across Columbia University. The Department is especially interested in qualified candidates who can contribute, through their research, teaching, and/or service, to the diversity and excellence of the academic community.
